Captain Galen Fugh first came to Lake Okeechobee for an EverStart tournament years ago, where he placed 4th—and he’s been hooked ever since.
A dedicated family man and passionate mentor, Capt. Fugh finds joy in teaching both kids and adults the art of fishing.
With a strong record of top-10 finishes in BFL and EverStart tournaments on renowned lakes such as Guntersville, Wheeler, and Okeechobee, he brings both skill and heart to the water.
Off the lake, he has served as an Investigator with the Chattanooga Police Department for over 27 years, bringing discipline, integrity, and leadership to everything he does.
Sharon Melton, RN, brings a dual lens of urgent care and mental health to the team.
With years of clinical experience and a passion for addressing trauma in underserved populations, Sharon leads curriculum development and facilitates on-site needs assessments.
Her expertise ensures that our programs are rooted in both emotional wellness and physical care, helping each camper feel seen, safe, and supported.
Sredrick Collins is the founder of "On the Dock" Bait and Tackle and a dedicated community connector.
He not only ensures our camps are fully equipped and smoothly run but also plays a vital role in bridging generations through mentorship.
Sedrick leads the coordination of veteran mentors, bringing in military leaders who guide our youth through shared stories of resilience, discipline, and purpose.
His commitment to structure, service, and community makes him an essential force behind the program’s impact.
