What is "Hooked On Healing 423"?
Hooked on Healing is a 4-day, nature based Mental Health Fishing Experience that uses the Peaceful practice of Fishing to help youth find Calm, Build Resilience, and Reconnect with themselves and the world around them.
Who is this Fishing Camp For?
Designed for at-risk boys and girls ages 10–18, this co-ed experience blends Outdoor Therapy, Emotional Support, and Life Skills in a Safe and Empowering environment.
Why was "Hooked on Healing 423" Created?
We created Hooked on Healing to address the growing Mental Health crisis among our youth—especially in underserved communities. By combining therapeutic Outdoor Activities with Mindful Reflection, we give kids the tools to Process Emotions, Build Confidence, and form Healthy Connections—all while learning the lifelong skill of fishing.

trained in trauma-informed care.
Guided by a Retired Police Captain who brings years of leadership, safety, and mentorship to the water’s edge.
Supported by Military Veterans who serve as mentors, offering structure, resilience, and real-life wisdom to the next generation
Built by Black Clinicians and Community Leaders who understand the Cultural and Emotional Needs of Underserved Youth.
Blends Fishing with Emotional Healing, Survival Skills, and Therapeutic Group Reflection.
Introduces Business Concepts through a Youth-Led Fish Fry.
Pop-up teaching Entrepreneurship, Budgeting, and Service.
Provides career exposure to paths in Healthcare, Culinary, Arts, Natural Resource Conservation, and Wellness Industries.
Rooted in Cultural Pride and Resilience showing our youth that Healing and Success can come from their own hands.
